Stories in the Air

We hope that you find our CD-ROMs useful. We have been able to create them and to send them to you without any charge because of the funding which we have received from government sources and from several charitable trusts.

Now we need your help. Stocks are running low; we need new sources of funding to continue to meet the ongoing need for our resources.

Many large companies support charities recommended or suggested by their employees. Do you, or does someone close to you, work for a big financial institution like Halifax and Bank of Scotland, Royal Bank of Scotland and National Westminster, Standard Life, or a major store group such as John Lewis and Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Sainsburys, or Tesco? These organisations and many others, large and not so large, do great work for charities, much of it directed at the instigation of the employees.

We want to help you. Can you help us to help others? Tell your employer, or tell your friend or relative to tell their employer, about Stories in the Air, about what we do, about how we need funding to continue sending out our educational CD-ROMs to and for deaf children, and for new projects. They can find out about us from this website or by contacting our vice-chair, Robert Clyde, at helpus@learnbsl.org or by telephone at 0131 229 1737. Thank you!
